Q: How do I get a ticket?
A: You must register for the upcoming sale every year on the burn website. The deadline for this changes, but it is usually in January. Only people who register will receive a link to buy tickets in the sale. On the day of the sale be ready at the appointed time to click on the link and then cross your fingers that you got in the right queue and are lucky enough to get a ticket. You are limited to two tickets and one car pass, so if you have a large group of friends going make sure everyone is registered and on point to buy on the appointed day. Tickets generally sell out in under 45 minutes.

Q: What happens if I don't get a ticket in the general sale?
A: If you aren't lucky enough to get one in the general sale, there are other options. First, you can try buying a ticket online, BUT you must be wary of fake tickets, and never pay above face value because doing so could void the ticket and it's not worth it to take the risk. Your best bet is to either join a theme camp and get their help to secure a ticket, or find local burners who would be willing to sell their ticket. DO NOT decide to go to The Burn AFTER you get your ticket. You will get one, but delaying preparation will only increase your costs in the long run.
